Queenie has 26 years of experience since call, with a broad civil practice encompassing land and property disputes, trusts and probate, construction and commercial disputes, company law, and family and children matters.
She has substantial expertise in IPO-related legal work, having provided legal opinions for over 70 Main Board and GEM Board listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as recent projects for listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market in the United States.
She is experienced in criminal litigation at both trial and appellate levels, appearing in the High Court, District Court, and Court of Appeal, and also acts as counsel in a range of disciplinary proceedings. In recognition of her experience, Queenie was appointed Deputy Magistrate of the Shatin Magistrates’ Courts in 2014 and later served as Deputy District Judge in 2020, hearing civil cases.
Queenie also contributes to the development of legal education and professional standards. She was a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2009–2017), teaching Writing and Drafting Litigation Documents (in Chinese) for the PCLL, and she is co-author of Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Volume 37(1), Magistrates.
