Mandy has recently returned to Hong Kong to resume her legal practice at the Bar. She holds a strong foundation in civil litigation and personal injury law—skills refined through her rigorous legal training and early professional experience within the Hong Kong Bar community. 

She holds a BSc from the University of British Columbia, an LLB from the University of London, and a PCLL from the University of Hong Kong.

Prior to joining the Bar, Mandy served as a Consular Program Officer at the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong, where she assisted distressed Canadians with complex cases involving local authorities—including those involving homicide on international waters and detention visits. She managed medical repatriations, exercised notarial authority, provided guidance on cross-jurisdictional legal issues, and briefed Canadian Foreign Affairs on developments in Hong Kong. This experience honed her expertise in negotiation, crisis management, and the practical application of law, providing a distinct advantage in client advocacy.

More recently, as a Strata President in Vancouver, BC, she led the crisis management for a major building defect claim exceeding $8.5M HKD. She conducted legal research, negotiated with insurers and professionals, and ensured regulatory compliance to achieve a successful remediation.

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Mandy can prepare written submissions and conduct hearings in both English and Chinese.
