Cheryl joined Chambers upon completion of her pupillage with Mr. Edwin Choy SC, Mr. Dick Lee, Mr. Kamlesh Sadhwani, Mr. Erik Shum, and extended pupillage with Mr. Richard Khaw SC. She graduated from the University of Hong Kong, where she obtained her LLB in 2022 and PCLL in 2023.

During her studies, Cheryl was awarded the Top 10 Outstanding Youths by the Home Affairs Bureau and Youth Development Commission and the Grantham Scholar of the Year Award.

Cheryl is bilingual in English and Cantonese and fluent in Mandarin. She is developing a broad civil and criminal practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work. She has appeared as an advocate in her own right in the Court of First Instance, the District Court, and the Magistrates’ Courts. She is capable of drafting, providing written submissions and conducting proceedings in both English and Chinese.
