Isaac joined Chambers after completing his pupillage under Mr Erik Shum, Mr Cheung Yiu Leung, Mr Douglas Kwok, and Ms Olivia Tsang. He holds a BBA(Law) (majoring in Accounting), an LLB, and a PCLL from the University of Hong Kong, ranking second in litigation-focused subjects in his PCLL cohort. He has also served as marshal to the Hon Albert Wong J and the Hon Godfrey Lam J (as Lam JA then was).
He maintains a broad criminal and civil practice, with particular interests in criminal defence, personal injury, and land disputes. His criminal work includes cases involving dishonesty, commercial crime, sexual and violent offences, drug offences, customs and immigration matters, traffic offences, workplace safety breaches, and public health and order offences.
On the civil side, he has acted in property disputes, adverse possession claims, personal injury and employees’ compensation cases, probate and administration matters, and contractual disputes. He is also experienced in death inquests, administrative appeals, and disciplinary proceedings.
Isaac is proficient in Chinese and English, can speak fluent Mandarin, and understands Hakka.

- FACC 8/2024 ((2025) 28 HKCFAR 209) – Final appeal on the proper construction of the ingredients of the offence of “Disclosing the Identity of a Person Being Investigated” under section 30 of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap. 201).

- TMS 11188 & 11189/2022 – Plea in mitigation for a defendant charged for the 7th time with failing to comply with a building order. The Court was persuaded not to activate the previous suspended sentence and instead to impose a fine for the current offence.
- STS 649 – 654/2025 – Review of sentence in respect of six summonses of failing to comply with an Enforcement Notice issued by the Planning Department.
- KTCC 2619/2024 – Plea bargain reducing a Dangerous Driving charge to Careless Driving for a minibus driver who drove across zebra crossings in the opposite lane.
- ESS 10028/2025 – Plea bargain reducing a Dangerous Driving charge to Careless Driving, for a driver who ran a red light at a junction, reached on the first day of trial following defence complaints of the prosecution’s material non-disclosure.
