Profile

Hei Ching has a broad civil litigation and advisory practice, with particular emphasis on chancery (land, trusts and succession), commercial (contract, company and insolvency), construction and public law. He regularly deals with complex issues of law, and has advised and represented private clients and public bodies (including the Government) and acted for corporations, institutions, investors, listed companies and their directors, as well as trustees, beneficiaries and shareholders.

He has extensive advocacy experience at all levels of the Hong Kong courts, including the Court of Final Appeal, the Court of Appeal, the Court of First Instance, the District Court, and the Lands Tribunal. His practice is strengthened by his substantial adjudicative experience and longstanding academic appointments. A Fellow of the CIArb and HKIArb and an Accredited Mediator, he is well placed to act in, and advise on, arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
