Claris has represented personal and corporate clients in a wide range of civil, criminal and disciplinary cases and has appeared as counsel and advocate in her own right in different levels of Court and Tribunal. In particular, she has a busy matrimonial practice. She is a HKMAAL Accredited General Mediator and an Associate of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators.

As for non-contentious matters, Claris has rendered legal opinions for IPO projects, listing matters and compliance with HKEX and SFC rules and regulations. She has also advised on company, construction, employment, import and export, inland revenue, immigration, MPF, personal data and privacy, gaming, property (both real property/land and intellectual property), competition law, pharmaceutical, food and health and safety related matters.

Claris has also been a part-time Lecturer of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a Visiting Lecturer of the Hong Kong Legal Training Institute. She has conducted in house trainings to those in the Hong Kong Immigration Department, Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department and business professionals. She has also been invited as a Guest Lecturer of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Claris is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English and is experienced in dealing with local, PRC and international clients.
